Many of Phoenix Medical Construction's projects involve the construction of state-of-the-art out-patient imaging centers developed for private medical practice groups or other entrepreneurs. These groups rely on the experience and know-how of Phoenix to help them create facilities that are responsive to their program requirements, maximize efficiency, and create an inviting environment for their patients and staff. These centers may be new buildings or renovations of existing structures.

Phoenix joined with Paladin Medical Development & Marketing to plan, design and construct Central Ocean Imaging, a 6,600 square foot multi-modality imaging center near the central New Jersey shore. The center features the latest all-digital technology Toshiba Medical Systems, including the new Vantage MRI System, with an ultra-short bore and the "pianissimo" sound-reduction feature, and the Aquilion 8-slice CT system.

In collaboration with the McGuire Group Architects and the center's chief technologist, Phoenix refined every aspect of the design to achieve the best result for patient "flow," responsiveness to staff needs, interior design, and ultimate profitability for the center. Major structural, mechanical, and electrical deficiencies in the base building site were evaluated and resolved. This project, with a five-month construction schedule and design and construction value of $950,000, was completed in December 2004.
